Horse milk
Horse milk products have a long history in Central Asia. For centuries, the nomadic peoples of the Asian have used mare’s milk to make kumis, a health drink made from milk.
The first written references to the use of mare’s milk date back to the 4th century BC, and its healing properties have been studied by many great figures throughout history.
From Central Asia, the use of mare’s milk spread to Central Europe and Russia. In Finland, mare’s milk was still used during the world wars as a substitute for breast milk and to strengthen people weakened by serious illnesses.
Horse milk is very similar to human milk in its protein composition and is a natural antiseptic health product.

Horse milk is still a unfamiliar concept in Finland, but our customers’ positive experiences encourage us to continue our product development! Clinical studies provide evidence of the benefits of mare’s milk, for example, in strengthening immunity as a supportive treatment for autoimmune diseases and as a product that improves digestion.
